FOR THOSE OF YOU who have been following along, you know that we’ve safely been taking a few special trips this month. one of those was our babymoon, which i shared last week, but this week jason’s work took to us to NYC for a few projects that mean a lot to us.

not many of you may know this, but NYC has a special place in my heart. i actually lived there on two different occasions for work and it really would be where my passion for clothes and style came to be. back in the day i interned in wardrobe on the set of gossip girl, and then had my taste of corporate life working at michael kors. there are so many special and funny memories that have come from my younger days spent in new york and i’m so grateful that life and work continue to bring us back here.

this trip was a little bit harder to pack for just because the weather right now is so cold. another note that many people probably don’t know is when i travel i almost never check a bag. i’m sure this will change when traveling with baby, but in the past i’ve had so many miserable experiences losing my luggage that i truly narrow down my list of what i’m packing to the BARE MINIMUM and fit it all in one carry on.

FOR THIS REASON, on the list below you’ll see a lot of items i pack i’ll wear different ways with different outfits. this makes it easy to pack, but then i also never feel overwhelmed by the amount of things i’ve brought.
