SKORT + A TEE
I am laughing to myself as I write this post, because this would have been a great 4th of July outfit post...just two days too late. Ha! Well, let's all be sure to keep this look in mind for this time next year, because it truly would be perfect. As you guys know by now, I love outfits that are casual but still cute. Comfort is #1 one for me because with comfort comes good times- it's a full proof method. I love an easy, comfortable ensemble like this one for lunch dates, dinner dates (okay, any kind of date), having people over the house, going shopping with friends, and any other fun, laid back activity. This crop tee from Madewell is a closet staple of mine and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for an easy, cropped tee. I love how versatile it is- it can be paired with high waisted jean shorts, wide legged pants, a flowy skirt (or skort!) and so much more. I am highly considering getting it in black as well, because I know I will wear it so much. You guys have seen these platform espadrilles before, which are unfortunately sold out in most sizes in most places, but this link does have several sizes available across the three colors. I have also found a similar option, here, from the Marc Fisher brand. Side note- Melissa has the Marc Fisher espadrilles in black and loves them. And how fun is this skort? Yes, it is a skort! The fact that it is a skort is awesome in itself, but the faux tie-around your waist detail makes it extra interesting. Last but not least, these sunnies. They are my #1 must-have accessory at all times. Summer style is just not the same without a great pair (or two or three) of sunnies.
